Run Your First Activity

The best way to understand ClaryNext is to experience it. This guide walks you through running your first activity.

What is an Activity?​

An activity is a guided experience that helps you apply knowledge through action. Activities break down complex wisdom into actionable steps, with optional AI assistance and mentor support.

Activities are designed to:

  • Be available exactly when you need them
  • Guide you through real situations in real-time
  • Document your journey for later reflection
  • Build lasting habits through repetition

Finding an Activity​

From Marketplace​

  1. Click Marketplace in the navigation
  2. Browse categories or search for a topic
  3. Look for activities marked as Free to try first
  4. Click an activity to view its details

From Dashboard​

Activities shared with you appear in My Activities.

Using AI to Create One​

  1. Navigate to the Design section
  2. Use Sketchbook AI to describe what you want to work on
  3. Get a personalized activity created for you

Starting an Activity​

  1. Click Run on an activity
  2. Choose Start New or Resume existing engagement
  3. Work through each step

Working Through Steps​

  • Text steps — Read content, absorb information
  • Input steps — Enter your thoughts and responses
  • Reflection steps — Think deeply about questions
  • AI steps — Get personalized feedback based on your inputs

Saving Take-Aways​

Click the ⋮ menu on any text field to:

  • Add as action item — Save as a task for later
  • Copy to insights — Save as a learning

The Take-Aways panel shows your saved items.

Completing the Activity​

When finished:

  1. Engagement Completed dialog shows your take-aways
  2. Review your action items and insights
  3. Add an optional epilogue reflection
  4. Click Continue to return to dashboard

Your take-aways appear in your Workspace for ongoing tracking.

Tips for Success​

  • Choose the right moment — Find a time when you won't be rushed
  • Be honest — Authentic responses lead to better insights
  • Take your time — Most activities have no timer
  • Save important content — Use take-aways to capture key learnings
